I am a prospective PhD student from Nigeria with a Master’s degree in Epidemiology and Medical statistics from the faculty of Public Health of the University of Ibadan. As my Master’s project, I worked on correlates of contraceptive use among Nigerian women of childbearing age, using Nigerian data from the Demographic and Health Survey, and have published a paper from the project in Journal of Health Science 2014, 4(3): 72-78. I co-authored a paper on determinants of TB success rate, published on the Nigerian Health Journal Vol. 13, No 2, April-June, 2013. I have the ability to collect, collate, organize, manage, analyze, interpret, coordinate, monitor and report health data, using relevant skills and statistical packages. Furthermore, I can provide technical support, through the application of epidemiological methods in the planning, implementation, evaluation and review of organizational activities that will lead to the attainment of an efficient and effective health care delivery and strengthening at all levels. My long-term goal is to be involved in research, deploying technological means to solve public health problem.
